Request a Book
Books not owned by the library can be requested using ILLiad. Always search the Library Catalog for PCOM holdings before requesting a book through ILLiad. Please note that textbooks are not available for interlibrary loan.
PA users have a self-service option in E-ZBorrow. Login to the PA Academic Library Consortium catalogs with the LIB# on your PCOM ID. If you have any trouble logging on, call the Circ Desk at 215-871-6470 and a staff member will verify that your LIB# is correct in the system.
The Library welcomes purchase recommendations from faculty, students, and staff. Please check current availability in the Library Catalog and Journal Locator prior to making your request. Make recommendations by submitting the following form.

Book Holds & Call Slips
Is the book you need marked “available” in the catalog?
If you are searching the PCOM catalog and you see a title that you want that is marked available, you can request the circulation staff to retrieve that book and have it waiting for you behind the circulation desk. You don’t have to be on campus to use this, and the book will stay on the shelf for 4 days until you pick it up.
Is the book you need marked “charged out” in the catalog?
Does it say Charged Out? Check here for instructions!
Books or AVs may be recalled when required by faculty for course use and reserve status. Notification of recall will be sent via e-mail to your PCOM e-mail account or phone. Recalled items must be returned to the Library within 7 days of the recall notification. Overdue fines will accrue after 7 days.
Address or ID Change
Borrowers are responsible for supplying correct and current addresses as well as any name changes. Please notify Librarycircdesk@pcom.edu of any change in address or phone number. Also advise Circulation if you have a new PCOM ID as your barcode must be updated
