An Introduction to REDCap

Come discover REDCap!

REDCap is an electronic data capture system for building and managing online surveys and databases. It's a free, HIPAA-compliant, and secure data collection tool for clinical and translational research that works to ensure data quality and security.

This class will cover the basics of how REDCap works and how to best use it. To learn about this resource, join us on October 24th from 12:00-1:00 in Room 1048 (GA) and Evans Hall 327 (PA).

National Medical Librarians Month

October is National Medical Librarians Month, which celebrates and raises awareness of the important role of health information professionals.

Research demonstrates that librarian-led information services and resources improve clinical decision making and patient-care outcomes. They also have a direct impact on the quality of research conducted by helping users stay current about advances in their specialty areas. Librarians teach students and healthcare providers how to find and evaluate information.

Essentially, librarians are experts in areas such as information management and services, evidence-based practice, and instructional design.

While the individual responsibilities and topics of expertise of the library staff varies, all of us share the utmost commitment to helping you save time and succeed in your patient-care, research, or educational goals.
Stop by to say hi to our library staff.
